Transition Homes

The Gap Program

Age range

18 & up

Our dream is to see every child who comes through our doors empowered to lead an independent, purpose-filled life. Once our children reach 18 or 19, they begin a transition from our Children's Homes into the next chapter.

Some may feel ready to launch into self-sufficient adulthood. Others need more guidance to spread their wings. That's why we created our Gap Year Program and transition homes - to give graduating youth a nurturing "home base" of support as they take flight into careers, higher education, and their community.

In these transition homes, mentors walk alongside teens and young adults like proud parents, providing advice, encouragement, and practical assistance as needed. It's deeply fulfilling to watch our children blossom into thoughtful leaders.

There is more to be done to expand this program and ensure all our youth get the support they deserve. We hope you'll learn more about how you can help give them roots to grow and wings to soar.

Join us in giving them the bright futures they deserve.

From Home to Hope

Transitioning Young Adults to Independence

Homes

Transition homes provide a nurturing in-between space where graduates can develop life skills, continue their education, and receive guidance as they take the next steps towards their careers and future goals.

Goal

The program aims to empower our school graduates to achieve self-reliance, encouraging them to independently meet their daily and future family needs. It serves a dual purpose by generating funds for college expenses and providing essential life skills, ensuring support for those who may not pursue higher education, enabling them to effectively manage their personal and familial responsibilities.

Raise Money

By providing this solid foundation and hands-on training in marketable skills either before college or for independent livelihoods, we equip graduates with practical tools to earn income, achieve their dreams, and transform into productive members of society.

Knowledge & Skills

Our gap year program teaches trades like carpentry, welding, plumbing, and computer skills to them as they transitioning out of our children’s homes over 12 months to empower self-reliant living.

Empowering Youth For The Journey Ahead

Our transitional living program helps our young adults successfully bridge the gap between our residential children’s homes and living independently as adults.

Transition Homes

These supervised transition homes empower graduates with life skills coaching, career guidance, and continued education so they can transform into thriving, self-sufficient members of society.
