Meet your Missions Team for 2008!

The Breath of Heaven Children's Ministries missionary team for 2008 has been working diligently since early this year to establish activities, timelines and focuses for the mission ahead. The team will be running a vacation bible school with the Avila Orphanage for which Breath of Heaven Children's Ministries has sponsored. The vacation bible school will be a total of five days and the study will focus around Noah's Ark. Along with the study, the team's focus will follow the theme Side by Side - New Beginnings which focuses on building a genuine relationship and walk with God.

The team will also be holding its 3rd Annual Teacher's Conference. The Teacher's Conference brings local Zambian teachers together with teachers on the team and they share materials, lesson plans, and activities. This year, we anticipate nearly 100 attendees from all over Zambia, up from 75 last year and 43 in 2006.

Most importantly, we will continue the construction efforts for the Children's Village. We expect to continue the laying of block for the latest two foundations as well as finishing work on the first home. With the efforts, we hope to be able to house some of the orphans living on the streets soon.
