1.4 million Orphans
This represents nearly 1 out of every 25 children that has lost one or both parents in Zambia’s capital city Lusaka. Many orphans in Lusaka end up living on the streets. One study found that street children face major risks like abuse, exploitation, malnutrition, and lack of education.
God’s Love in Action
Providing housing, education, and Christian spiritual development to many orphaned and abandoned children. Operating from a Christian perspective, the ministry aims to demonstrate God's love by supplying for children's basic needs while integrating Biblical teaching across subjects.
Hope Clinic
Breath of Heaven expanded their services by opening Hope Clinic, providing basic medical care and health education to children at the village, as well as families in surrounding communities. Staffed by doctors and nurses, the clinic offers, routine check-ups, and basic treatment.
Securing Futures
Breath of Heaven Children's Ministries provides residential care, education, skills training, and health services to vulnerable orphans in Zambia. Our vision is building a Children's Village in Lusaka that will become a loving home and nurturing community for precious children. With over 1 million orphans in Zambia struggling with poverty, hunger, and abuse, Breath of Heaven is dedicated to giving these children the loving home and bright future they deserve.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Breath of Heaven exists not only to rescue kids from a life of hopelessness and despair but is intentional about ensuring each child has hope and a future. Each child’s progress and development is evaluated and planned along with our village social worker. Transition and reintegration into the community is a process that may include finding a trade or employment or further education. We now have transition homes on the property and in the community where the older children can be helped to become independent.

The Church
Our non-denominational Christian church nurtures children's faith and spiritual wellbeing through worship services, discipleship training, conferences, and prayer, helping orphaned youth develop a personal relationship with God.
Breath of Heaven’s Education
Breath of Heaven Academy integrates Biblical values across its pursuit of academic excellence and servant-leadership principles, using its location in the poor surrounding communities of over 10,000 families in Barlastone Park to bring positive impact since opening its doors in 2015.
